Today's vibe coding post

Your app breaks less when you change one thing at a time. 🧱

General tip: Ask for one small change, test it, then move on. When a bug appears, you know exactly which prompt caused it.

  • Lovable: Use plan mode to discuss an approach before the agent writes any code.
  • Bolt: Use the prompt enhancement option to turn a vague request into specific instructions before sending it.
  • v0 by Vercel: Attach a screenshot of the layout you want so v0 matches it more closely than a text description alone.
  • Replit: Switch the Agent to Plan mode to scope a feature before it starts editing files.
  • Google AI Studio / Google Play: Run your app through an internal testing track in Play Console before a public release.
  • Emergent: Ask it to summarize the plan before building, and correct any wrong assumptions first.
  • Cursor & Windsurf: In Cursor, use Plan mode to review the agent's steps before it edits your files.

It's building software by describing what you want in plain English and letting AI write the code. You stay the designer, the decision-maker and the taste — the AI handles the typing. No degree, no bootcamp, no permission needed.

1. Describe it

Say what you want in normal words. A booking page. A dashboard. A shop.

2. Nudge it

Look at what you got, ask for small changes, repeat until it feels right.

3. Ship it

Publish, share the link, and let real people use the thing you made.

FAQ

Frequently asked 🙋

What is vibe coding?

Vibe coding is building software by describing what you want in plain English and letting an AI write the code, while you judge the result and ask for changes. The term was coined by AI researcher Andrej Karpathy in early 2025.

What is the best AI app builder for beginners?

Lovable, for most people, because it handles the interface, database, login and hosting from one conversation. Replit is the better first stop if learning how the app works matters as much as finishing it, and Bolt is best for testing an idea fast.

Do I need to know how to code?

No, not to start. People with no coding background publish working apps every week using these tools. Some code literacy makes you much faster at fixing things later, but it is something you pick up along the way rather than a prerequisite.

How much do AI app builders cost?

Almost all of them offer a free tier plus a paid plan with a usage allowance, so your bill tracks how many times you regenerate rather than how many apps you build. Scoping an idea tightly saves more money than switching platforms.

Which tools should I compare?

The ones beginners actually choose between: Lovable, Replit and Bolt for building whole apps from a prompt, and Cursor, Windsurf and v0 once you want to work closer to the code. We profile each one and sell none of them.

Where can I get help when I am stuck?

Our Facebook community of 12,400+ builders answers beginner questions daily, and nobody is expected to know the jargon. Most people get unstuck in minutes on something that would have cost them a whole evening alone.
