Bolt.new Partners With Microsoft to Bring AI App Building to Azure and Microsoft 365

The deal brings Bolt's in-browser, agentic app builder into Microsoft's enterprise stack.

Bolt.new, built by StackBlitz, announced a strategic partnership with Microsoft to bring its AI app-building experience directly into Azure and Microsoft 365 โ€” aimed squarely at enterprise teams that already run on Microsoft infrastructure and want AI building without adopting a whole new platform.

Bolt's pitch has always leaned on its browser-native WebContainers technology, which runs a real Node environment without a remote server. Folding that into Microsoft's ecosystem is a notable enterprise validation for the underlying tech, even if it doesn't change much for solo builders using the free or pro tiers directly at bolt.new.

Worth knowing mainly as a signal: enterprise buyers are now treating AI app builders as serious infrastructure, not experimental tools โ€” which tends to mean more investment in reliability and features trickling down to everyone.
