The Prompting Playbook: 15 Prompts That Actually Work
Copy-paste prompts for building features, fixing bugs, and refactoring — tested across Lovable, Bolt, and Cursor.
The Prompting Playbook
### Adding a feature
"Add a [feature] to the [page]. It should [behavior]. Keep the existing design system and do not change any other pages."
### Fixing a bug
"The [thing] is broken. Expected: [X]. Actual: [Y]. Only touch the files needed to fix this."
### Refactoring
"Clean up [file] without changing any behavior. Extract repeated logic into helpers."
The pattern: be specific, constrain the blast radius, and state what NOT to change.
