TL;DR

1Lovable added "Sign in with Lovable" on Oct 14 and 15. Per its changelog, it works on Lovable Cloud login pages by default and on outside websites.

2Lovable also added credit-usage tools and two new AI models for in-app features: Gemini 4 Argon and GPT-6.1 Sol.

3Cloudflare released Void on Oct 15, open-source tools that help companies manage apps their staff build with AI.

Top Story: Lovable Sign-In Reaches Beyond Lovable

Lovable's changelog for October 14 and 15 describes a new "Sign in with Lovable" option. Lovable says login pages for Lovable Cloud apps now include it by default. It also says any website can add it with a script tag or the standard OpenID Connect flow, and that these sign-ins use no credits. Workspace admins can also register OAuth clients, and Lovable says sensitive permissions need a Business or Enterprise plan plus Lovable verification.

Why it matters for beginners: login is one of the hardest parts of an app to get right. Letting people sign in with an existing account can mean you handle fewer passwords, and fewer passwords means fewer things that can leak. The catch is that your visitors need a Lovable account, so this fits tools for other builders better than a public shop.

Why it matters for business owners: decide who in your team owns sign-in settings and who can approve access. Test any login on a copy of your site before real customers use it. All of this is the vendor's own description; we have not tested it.

Plans and Pricing

1Lovable (Oct 12) says Free, Pro and Business users can now see how much of their usage was covered by free allowances.

2Lovable (Oct 14) says you can ask what drives your run credit usage. An "Optimize your usage" button appears when a workspace or project used more than 5 run credits in the last 7 days.

3Lovable (Oct 13) added Gemini 4 Argon for app AI features and says it carries a premium price. On Oct 15 it added GPT-6.1 Sol. Check the price in the model picker before turning on AI features in a customer app.

4Lovable (Oct 14) says its new growth tools for advice, Google and Meta ads, and creative assets add no extra fees beyond standard chat costs. Google or Meta bills ad spend to your ad account.

5Vercel (Oct 15) says Token Pass is in early access: $30 buys $80 of monthly credit for featured open-weight models, usable with a coding agent.

6Replit (Oct 16) added Claude Haiku 5.5 to its model selector in Power Mode for Core and Pro builders. Replit lists no pricing change.

Security Watch

1Cloudflare announced Void on Oct 15, per The New Stack. It includes a self-hostable platform where admins control who can deploy and access AI-built apps. Self-hosting needs a paid Cloudflare plan, storage and a database, and there is no managed version yet. It matters if staff are building apps outside IT.

2Lovable (Oct 13 and 14) says Cloud databases support only a fixed list of extensions, and that sensitive OAuth permissions require verification. Lovable also says deleted projects and workspaces can be restored within 60 days.

3Al Jazeera (Oct 16) aired a short report on vibe coding, citing security concerns and hidden costs around free AI-made copies of popular programs. Practical rule: only install apps from makers you can identify.

Not Seen This Week

We found no dated release notes or pricing changes for Bolt.new, v0, Windsurf or Base44 inside the window. Anthropic's news page showed no model release or usage-limit change in the window. Claude Code versions 2.1.299 to 2.1.302 appeared Oct 15 to 17 on a third-party tracker, which we did not confirm on the vendor page. Cursor (Oct 16) added shareable canvases for cloud agents and listed no pricing change.

Try This Week

1Open your Lovable workspace and look at the new covered-credits view. Write down what one typical build costs you.

2If your app uses AI features, compare model prices before choosing Gemini 4 Argon or GPT-6.1 Sol. Start with your current model and switch only if you need to.

3On a copy of any app with a login, sign in, sign out, and try a wrong account. Confirm what a logged-out visitor can see.
